Cezary Klimaszewski – born in 1971, intermedia artist (spatial objects, installations, graphics, video), architecture enthusiast, pedantic obsessive model-maker. He obtained his diploma in Prof. Zdzisław Niedźwiedź’s Studio of Intaglio Printing under the supervision of Prof. Artur Popek. Since 1998, he has been an employee of the Faculty of Arts at the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University. In 2004, he obtained his doctoral degree in the discipline of graphic design. In 2012, he was awarded a postdoctoral degree in the discipline of fine arts – graphic design. Currently, he works as an assistant professor at the Department of Intermedia and Drawing at the Institute of Fine Arts WA UMCS in Lublin. He has taken part in numerous group and individual exhibitions, e.g. at Biała Gallery in Lublin, Kronika Gallery in Bytom, BWA in Toruń, CSW in Warsaw, and sat on the jury of competitions, including Lessedra World Art Print. His work often features architectural mock-ups and exaggerated objects, bringing to life diverse historical contexts and prompting the viewer to actively confront them.
